VI International Conference of Biophysics Students
Kraków,  19th-21st May 2017

  1. General provisions 
    1. VI International Conference of Biophysics Students, henceforth called "Conference" is held on 19th-21st May 2017 at the Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology, Gronostajowa Street 7, Kraków.
    2. The Organizer of this Conference is Biophysics Students' Association "Nobel", residing at the  Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology, Gronostajowa Street 7, Kraków.
    3. The provisions of these Regulations are an integral part of the application for participation in the conference and apply to all participants.
    4. The participation in the Conference is open to all persons interested in topics of the Conference.
    5. The Conference shall include oral presentations and poster sessions.
    6. The official website of the Conference is www.nobel.wbbib.uj.edu.pl , and all questions should be directed at the e-mail address icbs.cracow[at]uj.edu.pl
    7. The official language of the conference is English and the Participant should use this language to communicate throughout the Conference.
  2. Rules of participation
    1. The conditions of participating in the Conference are:
    • Submitting the registration form available at the organizer's website.
    • Payment of conference fee set by the Organizer. Information about deadlines and fees are listed on the website: Deadlines and Fees
    1. The payment details (bank account etc.) are listed on the web page of the Conference.
    2. The conference fee includes the costs of participation, conference materials, breakfasts and coffee breaks during the Conference.
    3. Participants cover the costs of travel on their own.
    4. At the personal request of a participant, the Organizer shall issue a VAT invoice.
    5. The organizer has the right to deny participation in the Conference to those, who have not paid the conference fee within the time specified above.
    6. The Participants of this Conference include the Speakers giving a talk or presenting a poster, and the Listeners.
    7. Upon arrival, the Participant must register at the registration stand prepared by the Organizer.
    8. Each Participant shall receive a written confirmation of participation in the Conference.
    9. Each Participant may withdraw from participation in the Conference. The resignation should be submitted via the official e-mail address of the Conference.
    10. In a case of withdrawal from participation.
      • If  the Organizer receives the withdrawal by April 30th, he is obliged to repay the full cost of the conference fee (if it has been already transferred into the account of the Organizer).
      • The funds shall be returned to the account of the Participant within 14 days of the confirmation of resignation.
      • If the resignation has been submitted after April 30th or later, the Organizer has the right to retain the full cost of the conference fee.
    11. The organizer reserves the right to choose the speakers and posters from participants that have reported active participation in the registration form. The selection will be guided by the compatibility with the themes of the Conference.
  3. Final provisions
    1. If the conference does not take place for reasons attributable to the Organizer, the Organizer shall promptly return the fees paid by the participants at their designated bank accounts.
    2. By submitting his registration at the Conference's website, the Participant expresses acceptance of these Rules and the obligation to include any regulations and arrangements made between the Participant and Organizer.
    3. According to the Act on Personal Data Protection of 29 August 1997 (Dz. U. 133, 29 October 1997, pos. 833rd), organizer of the conference does not give, sell or lend personal information of the Participants to other people or institutions. Personal data submitted by the Participant (name, address, phone number, e-mail) shall be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of communication between the Participant and the Conference Organizers.
    4. The Organizers are not responsible for the loss, destruction or theft of the possessions of the Participants during the Conference.
    5. Participants assume full liability for damage done by them both on the premises related to any activities of the Conference, as well as in places of accommodation.
